Jeder, der schon einmal einen Auftritt von Uwe Steimle besucht hat oder in der DDR groß geworden ist, kennt die Pionier-Hymne „Unsere Heimat“. Korns Version von dem Lied zeigt, wie sehr sich Selbstverständlichkeiten und Begriffe wie Heimat gewandelt haben – nicht immer zum Besseren. Es ist schon komisch: Ein Lied, das früher von heranwachsenden Jungsozialisten gesungen wurde, ist heute eine patriotische Hymne.
